Hi guys
Be careful if you are going to use them.

First,  Mimmo said to me $50/ hour,  soon he change it to $55/hour then actual arrangement become $60/ hour plus GST.

3 hours arrangement for a small 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms apartment.
His wife came 10 minutes earlier, I show her where the cleaning tools and products are.  She talks for 15 minutes until I stop her.
I have to empty everything from the bathrooms for her,  she just clean and use lots of bleach.  Then she said,  she won't clean the tiles. She doesn't use hand to clean the floor.  With a small bathroom plus I usually maintain my cleanliness. Still,  she spent 1 hour and 10 minutes for one bathrooms without cleaning the floor.  All she clean,  toilet,  bathtub and mirror.  She's start packing up 15 minutes before and said to me because she came 10 minutes before so she leave 10 minutes earlier.  Within 3 hours, 2 hours and 20 minutes wash 2 bathrooms,  15 minutes talking,  5 minutes pack up.  Show her tools and equipments 5 minutes.
Not even carry out the rubbish,  I have to do it myself.  All dirty clothes leave in a pile for me.  One of my expensive cleaning microfibre cloth was damage by bleach from her.  Not even an apology.
She is a very rude lady.

I can't believe people feed these kind of people and make them become so greedy!

I can't believe the consumer affair had no take any action again these businesses.

I've previously held extremely high positions of trust in parts of the government so you can trust me when I say that Mimmo (and his wife) are liars. He even tried to gaslight me over text message that my version of events was 180deg out from his wife's. So... here goes.

I engaged Mimmo and "his team" (which does not consist of the people on the website- it is just him as "manager" and his wife and his son on the road) to clean my 75 year old mum's house. I was initially recommended them by another cleaning company on the Mornington Peninsula that did an amazing job on a holiday house we were staying at.

After requesting a 3-hour clean (about standard for my mum's house, based upon previous cleaners), Mimmo advised that his minimum was "6 hours" and that he would charge $80/hr, and then I said I'd accept if he could do it for $70/hr and do the whole house thoroughly.

Upon arrival, his wife spoke tersely to my mum, not asking but dictating what she and her son would do. In 6 hours, this consisted of the kitchen (3 hours), the small upstairs bathroom (2 hours) and the downstairs toilet (1 hour). OUTRAGEOUSLY slow and inefficient. And the quality was not even that good. I can clean my mum's entire house in 3 hours to a reasonable standard, without being a professional cleaner, so heaven knows what they were doing for 6 hours. Well, they did spend an hour arguing upstairs.

The tipping point for me is how uncomfortable they made my mum- for whom I had organised the clean. Mum is really rattled by how rude and curt Mimmo's wife was, and Mimmo just lies to cover his tracks (claiming that my mum was "standing over" his wife for 3 hours- when in reality my mum was reading the newspaper in the living room).

Last but not least, I spent 30mins on the phone this evening with Mimmo calmly explaining my grievances and providing a reasonable opportunity and reasonable suggestions for him to remedy it. His response was "you book in another job with us [of 6 hours] and we will throw in 1 hour for free". No thanks!

If you check through the other low google reviews- you'll see similar. I've also gone back to the company that recommended Mimmo to say "never again" and I will also take Clean Home Melbourne to the Small Claims Tribunal.
